Lawson ASC is one of the oldest swimming clubs in NSW, having been established in 1930. Our club caters for swimmers of all ages and all abilities and promotes the development of every member’s swimming in a friendly, supportive family environment.

We meet 6pm each Friday evening from early October through to late March at the beautiful Lawson Memorial Pool. The pool is heated to a temperature of around 27 degrees, making it warm in the water even if the air outside is cool. One of the highlights of our club is the number of families where both the parents and children join in the weekly events.

For enquiries, come down to the pool and speak with a member of our club’s committee at the race entry desk.

NOTE: for learn-to-swim enquires, please contact Lawson Pool directly – leisurecentres@bmcc.nsw.gov.au or 47591458.

Our 2024-2025 season is now underway. Come and try any Friday 6pm.
Membership fees are $110 for Club Swimmers or $125 for Carnival Swimmers.

National Integrity Framework

Swimming Australia and its Member Organisations remain fully committed to the protection of children, young people and our members in our sport, and our club encourages all members to familiarise themselves with the policies in the recently adopted National Integrity Framework, and to raise the issue of child safety to everyone involved in swimming clubs.

Our members are required, at all times, to comply with the rules in the Framework documents. The current versions of each of these documents can be accessed at https://www.swimming.org.au/resources/swimming-national-integrity-framework

In particular, members must comply with Sports Integrity Australia’s Standards and Prohibited Conduct guide, which is available via this link.

The NIF is a set of rules that all members of our sport need to follow when it comes to their behaviour and conduct in swimming including obligations to report misconduct. Those rules are contained in the following policies:

  1. Safeguarding Children & Young People Policy
  2. Member Protection Policy
  3. Improper Use of Drugs and Medicine Policy
  4. Competition Manipulation & Sports Gambling Policy
  5. Complaints, Disputes & Discipline Policy (CDDP)
  6. Code of Conduct

Thank you to our sponsor Awakened Psychology, who have kindly assisted the club with purchasing swimming caps and our custom-printed gazebo.
